In
this small article I would like to describe the best experience of my life -
practice in SuperDot :)
I
cannot find words to express how happy I was to have this incredible experience
as AIESEC internship and end up working in Belgrade marketing agency SuperDot.
I couldn't even imagine, that one day I will go to Belgrade, to absolutely
undiscovered by me part of Europe and it will become my real home for 4 months.
Not just place to stay, but place, there I will feel myself absolutely
comfortable like at home and meet so many unbelievably cool people!
I
will never forget my first day in SuperDot. I was a little bit nervous before
coming to new company, I was not afraid of somebody, but I had that feeling of
something undiscovered waiting me ahead, strong excitement of opening a new
page of my life. When I came in with 2 guys from AIESEC, who showed me the way
to SuperDot all my nervousness flew away because everybody was so friendly and
cheerful! What I remember is so many smiles, so many hands and hugs and
names..) And I remember how we were sitting at our big table under the bright
sun and talking. Somebody was joking about something, I didn't understand these
internal jokes yet, but I knew what I am on the right place, because it was so
warm in my heart and I really wanted to jump with a head in this world.
When
I started working I realized that SuperDot is even more cool, than I imagined
it before coming. Everybody was so friendly, I started to understand, that
SuperDot is like a big family where people support each other, where you can
hear a lot of laugh and jokes every day, where everybody have fun and at the
same time work seriously! That was the reason why I wanted to go to work every
morning and meet all these people, make interesting work, understand Serbian
language (and in the end I did and some people spoke with me only Serbian :)))
and be surrounded by all these atmosphere!
And
of course I cannot forget to mention my favorite SuperDot product with which I
was working and which became so darling for me - MooShema - impersonation of
exclusive design and creativity of our designers and other people who want to
avoid commonness in life. It was very interesting to work with it, to
contribute to expansion of peoples' attention to this unusual brand, to see
birth of new products as so cool aprons, bags and wallets :)
Moreover,
I will not forget these sunny days, when we gathered outside at the table for
lunch time. People from SuperDot "opened" for me such traditional
Serbian meals as pita, sarma, burek, becar, muckalica and so on :) And I liked
it! Especially burke :)
As
well I understood, that everybody in Serbia likes coffee. When I drank tea, sometimes
people asked me, am I ok or ill? I was really surprised by such question in the
beginning, but then I realized, that Serbian people usually drink tea than they
are sick and for every day prefer coffee. So, I used to this as well)) I
remember how my first day Neske kindly explained me precisely exert step of
making coffee in the coffee machine :)))
During
my internship I got a lot of very important for me experience in organization
events and concourses, making a website, writing articles, looking for new
customers in other countries, organization of export and so on. And I attended
so many interesting events as Skopje design week (where I get closely
acquainted with MooShema for the first time), going to football game together,
Sky exhibition, onion soup preparation in KCGrad, The End party and others..
:)
I
can say, that for these 4 months I learned more, than I have learned during 3
years in my university. And after seeing a lot of beautiful works of our
designers I became inspired to learn and practice graphical design. Now it
seems even more interesting for me!
I
imagine my future life working in marketing agency and now I know like what it
have to be. And understanding of how such kind of marketing agency is just the
least part I have learned. The main thing, which I understood was that the
company of my dream where I want to work in my future will have such culture,
teamwork, perfect cooperation, atmosphere and inexpressible connection between all
people in the company.
Now
this is an ideal in my head and I will never agree for the less! :)
I
want to say thank you to every SuperDotovec from all my heart! Ugljesa, Ivan,
Nevena, Luba, Olgica, Alexandra, Ana, Desa, Milica, Milan, Biljana, Iva, Tamara,
Maja, Marko, Pepi, Neske, Ivan, Velja and all interns I worked with: Obrad,
Bora, Nemana, Dina, Ivana, Jelena, Milica, Stefana! Thank you for all time
spent together, all jokes, support, friendship and an unforgettable Goodbye
day!!!
I
hope I will see you again in Prague, Belgrade or in other places in the world!!
Kisses
and hugs,
Katya.
